Hello! This page was made to showcase a sampling of my work in consideration for the position of videographer/photographer at Espresso, the in-house marketing agency for Kaspar Companies and subsidiaries. I chose these pieces in an attempt to show videos similar in feel and content to some of Espresso's current work, as shown on the company's Vimeo channel. My aim is to demonstrate compatibility with your team. I included other pieces simply because I'm proud I was able to play a part in telling that story.
I worked on this video as part of a three person crew. I suggested that we approach the venue to produce a video for them because I was intrigued by the historical industry exhibits. Each team member helped draft the interview questions and shot list, perform location scouting, shoot B-Roll, set up three point lighting, and man a camera during the interviews. I performed all the editing, music selection and titling alone.
This is a training film made in support of the 29th Intelligence Squadron's "Comprehensive Airman Fitness Day". It tells the touching story of an Airman finding the strength to cope with a serious health issue through interpersonal relationships. I was responsible for all facets of production and post-production.
This is a website video for a highly rated local mechanic shop. This project was very enjoyable to me because I have an affinity for tools, and working with my hands, and I truly admire people with the hands-on skills to keep America working. I went on to produce several other videos for the shop, including a Comcast Cable multi-platform advertisement. This video can be seen in context here:
I shot this footage for a JB Hunt Trucking Company training video. It was a very challenging shoot. First, the delivery depicted took place at 2:00 a.m. in a not-so-safe part of town. The two employees on duty at Rite-Aid did not know I was coming, despite the fact that I asked the management to inform them of the shoot a week earlier during my location scouting. I had to finesse my way into the store. Luckily I was able to get B-Roll and interview footage per JB Hunt's specifications.
